Individualized Learning

One-on-One

Townsend Learning Center helps students of all ages improve their learning skills and do better in school or work. We find out each person’s unique ways of learning, including strengths, weaknesses, and skill levels. Our highly individualized approach makes learning success possible. We tailor programs in reading, writing, math, study skills, test preparation, computing, and work skills. Employees or adults seeking work can learn skills to succeed on the job. Our clients with learning disabilities, AD/HD, or other special needs improve their learning.

• Our instructors design specific strategies to help individuals
accomplish their goals and make use of their unique
      learning styles.
• We identify learning styles and specific skills with our
      Diagnostic Assessment.
• We track improvement through testing and actual work
      samples.
• Our instructors work closely with parents to help them
      reinforce improvement at home.
• Adults get ready for higher education or new careers by
      increasing basic skills.
• High school students prepare for college entrance exams
and get ready and organized for college level studies.
