Why Townsend? We founded Townsend Learning Center in 1969 to help adults, youth, and children improve their learning skills and achieve their life goals. Townsend stands for working holistically to help the whole person. Our uniquely individualized approach addresses learning styles, deficits, necessary skills, interests, and personal hopes and dreams. Our satisfied clients come away with good grades, motivation, new work skills, and readiness for a productive career. A forerunner in the now booming knowledge industry, Townsend makes it possible for clients of all ages to sharpen their learning skills and succeed in todays global economy. Starting with just two people in a small office in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Townsend has grown to five centers in Ohio with over forty employees. Headquartered in the beautiful Loftworks Building in Midtown Cleveland, they offer the kind of warm and nurturing environment clients both need and love.
